What This Warranty Covers:
TK Cabinets, Inc. (“TK”) warrants its parts and products to be free of substantial defects in materials and workmanship from the original date of purchase under normal home use. This warranty is offered only to the original consumer purchaser and may not be transferred.
How Long The Warranty Lasts:
Coverage for all kitchen cabinets, vanity cabinets, storage cabinets, furniture pieces and other custom cabinetry lasts for 3 years from the original date of purchase. Coverage for laminate and solid surface countertops produced and sold by our shop lasts for 1 year from the original date of purchase. Coverage for applied trims, moldings, toe kicks, hardware and accessories lasts for 1 year from the original date of purchase.
What TK Cabinets Will Do Under The Warranty:
During the warranty period, TK, at it’s option, will repair or replace any part or product that proves to have substantial defects in materials or workmanship, or TK will provide an equivalent replacement product. In keeping with our policy of continuous product improvement, TK reserves the right to change specifications in design and materials without notice and with no obligation to retrofit products we previously manufactured.
TK disclaims any implied warranty of merchantability, and there are no warranties that extend beyond the descriptions on the face hereof. To the extent that such disclaimer is not valid under applicable law, any implied warranty shall be coextensive in duration with this warranty.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover:
Natural woods may vary in texture, color and wood grain, and exhibit subtle changes as they age. For example, wood joints may eventually have visible cracking around the joint area and cabinet colors may darken or lighten over time. Sunlight, smoke, moisture, household cleaners and other environmental conditions may cause materials to vary from their original color and/or to warp, split or crack. These variations are considered to be the nature of the material in relation to its environmental exposure and are not covered under this warranty. Additionally this warranty does not cover any problems or damage which result from failure to observe TK Cabinet Cleaning & Care Guidelines, improper transportation (non-TK only), improper installation (non-TK only), mishandling, misuse, abuse, neglect, abnormal use, commercial use, improper maintenance, non-TK repairs, accidents, or acts of God, such as hurricanes, fire, earthquakes or floods. This warranty and any applicable implied warranties do not cover incidental or consequential damages arising from any defects in the product, such as labor charges for installation or removal of the product or any associated products. This warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by normal wear & tear, alterations, environmental conditions, humidity absorption, or mold. Cabinet finish may be tested for surface acidity resulting from the use of acidic cleansers (such as Windex), the presence of which will void this warranty.
How to Obtain Warranty Service:
If you need replacement parts or would like to make a warranty claim, please contact our Sales Representative by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, telephone at (386) 325-6906 or fax (386) 256-1524. All warranty claims must include the purchasers name, contact information and the nature of the problem. Service calls by our installation team receive the same priority as new installations, and will always be handled in a timely manner. In the case of products installed by the customer or third party, TK may at its discretion require inspection of the installation site prior to honoring any warranty claim.
