Distressed shaker cabinets with stained concrete countertops and staggered depth bases. The tin panels accenting some of the doors were hand punched by the homeowner from pieces of the metal roof recovered from the original house built on the property over a hundred years ago. That same tin is used to accent the back and sides of the island and hood. The island is finished in a rich New England Walnut to contrast the painted cabinets used in the rest of the kitchen. The concrete tops are finished in contrasting colors as well to further build on the dramatic impact of this beautiful kitchen.
